Since 1973, the Rogue Valley Chorale has been presenting the best in chorale music to the residents of Southern Oregon. The group of 100 singers is comprised of the finest vocalists in the Rogue Valley. It offers seasonal concerts that celebrate a wide range of musical genre including classical, contemporary, Broadway, folk, spirituals and much more. The mission of Rogue Valley Chorale is to inspire our community through the performance of great choral music.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR/CONDUCTOR
Lynn Sjolund, Artistic Director/Conductor of the Rogue Valley Chorale, is well known as a conductor and choral clinician. He has directed festival groups and adjudicated choruses throughout the country. His tenure with the Chorale began with its founding and has been continuous, with the exception of three years when he was Director of Choral Studies at Loyola University in New Orleans. His artistic vision, exceptional musical ability and professionalism are well-known and command great respect. Mr. Sjolund guides the Chorale with clear vision so that artistic integrity and excellence, audience appeal, youth mentorship and educational opportunities flourish. In directing the Chorale Mr. Sjolund's goal is to bring home music's illusive qualities where one is transfixed and transported to another realm of understanding. ACCOMPANIST
Andrea Brock serves as the accompanist and piano soloist for the Rogue Valley Chorale. Her skills as a pianist are highly sought after in Southern Oregon. She has served as an accompanist at statewide and regional choral competitions, for the Oregon Bach Festival and for numerous other music organizations. Audition Information
Auditions are held regularly before the start of the Fall season. This year auditions will be held on Monday, August 23rd, 7:00 PM, at the First Christian Church located at 1900 Crater Lake Avenue in Medford, Oregon.

Each applicant will complete an application that will provide us with contact information and previous choral singing experience. Applicants will be asked to sing scales to determine vocal range and quality and a song of their choice (an accompanist will be available). If one wishes, singing America the Beautiful or a hymn is acceptable. Applicants will be asked to sight read the music and sing a part along with members of the Chorale.

Music Rental
The Rogue Valley Chorale has an extensive library of a wide range of choral music. We are pleased to provide choruses with rental access to our library. Please contact us to learn more about renting music.
