About Our Season and Ticket Purchases The Rogue Valley Chorale is proud to perform our seasonal concerts at the beautiful Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater in Downtown Medford, Oregon. The theater is an intimate and comfortable venue that seats 732 patrons. The Craterian theater opened in 1924, and added "Ginger Rogers" to its name in 1993 following a benefit performance by the famous Oregonian actress. Her efforts to raise funds to renovate the theater are instrumental in the Craterian's rebirth as a first class venue. Celebrate Our 40th Anniversary 2012/'13 Season Dec 8 and 9, 2012 at the Craterian Christmas with the Chorale, Let it Snow … a traditional Christmas program featuring a sing-along to some of your favorite carols. February 24, 2013 – Sunday at the Craterian Hallelujah … a program of sacred music through time, a tribute to how religion has shaped our culture and musical repertoire. April 27 and 28, 2013 at the Craterian Celebrating 40 Years, Forte at Forty … a celebration of the Chorale’s favorite works over the past 40 years including “To Music”, an original composition commissioned by Dr. David Childs that we premiered in 2011. More dates and venues will be added as the season progresses. Please check back frequently for current information. (The New Parking system in the City of Medford is not enforced on the weekends. Craterian management assures us you may park in the city lots near the Craterian free of charge when you come hear us sing.) Performing Arts Access Rogue Valley Chorale is pleased to be a Performing Arts Access participant. Anyone who receives food stamps (SNAP) or has an Oregon Trail Card is eligible to receive two $5 tickets to our concerts.
